FARMMM is a Brooklyn-based design and architectural studio working on designs of objects, installations, exhibitions, research, public realm projects, and more.
Our work is driven by a strong interest in social and cultural values of architecture and design. Working at different scales and shapes FARMMM enjoys exploring architecture beyond buildings. We believe in collaboration and often work with other architects, creatives, communities, and advocates whose perspective and values allow us always to have a critical understanding of the built environment, to create spaces and experiences that are inclusive and joyful for others.
FARMMM studio was founded by Sasha Topolnytska - an architectural designer and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Her playful imaginative designs are born from her abstract vision of form and space influenced by her background in architecture and her Ukrainian heritage. Sasha's design work has been awarded NYCxDesign award and her collaborative projects have received support from the Center for Architecture, New York State Council of the Arts, and Design Trust for Public Space. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. Sasha is currently teaching architecture at Spitzer School of Architecture at City College, and she has previously taught at Pratt and Parsons School of Design. She has previously worked for award-winning architecture and design offices such as TenBerke and Architecture+Information.
